I thought this was an interesting mystery. It had great atmosphere and I absolutely loved the setting. I wasn't necessarily keen on Matthew Ryder as the hero. He was an alright character, but nothing spectacular. The romance portion was a bit too fake for me. Sarah, the main character, was a little too flippy floppy. Her emotions were all over the place and she was never quite consistent in the way she reacted to stressful situations.
I was hoping for a little more from this book, but overall it was a fairly enjoyable read.
